Aptera Motors HMI

Overview

I collaborated with Aptera Motors, a company developing the world's most efficient solar electric vehicle, on multiple UX and UI initiatives.

For their mobile app, I conducted user research, competitive analysis, and prototyping to design a seamless and intuitive user experience that aligns with Aptera's focus on sustainability and innovation.

I also consulted on the UX of their in-vehicle entertainment system. By leveraging Aptera's existing design language and their unique market-positioning, I supported the creation of a cohesive, accessible and fun user experience within the vehicle. We made sure to highlight Aptera's innovative solar charging system, a core differentiator that eliminates dependence on traditional charging stations. By bringing this feature to the forefront of the user experience, I helped to create a more compelling and sustainable brand image.
